Anna Eicholtz Obituary

Anna Mae (Oley) Eicholtz, 90, of St. Anne Home, Greensburg, and formerly of West Mifflin, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Sunday, Feb. 11. She was born in Braddock on April 3, 1927, the daughter of the late John and Anna Oley, and the wife of the late Arthur J. "Ike" Eicholtz. She lived in Glassport for many years before marrying Arthur and moving to West Mifflin. She was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish in Duquesne, former member of the Christian Mothers of Holy Name Church, Duquesne Senior Citizens Council, Fellowship Club of Duquesne, and the Knights of Columbus Senior Citizens. She was the credit manager for Busy Beaver Building Products for many years until her retirement. Anna Mae was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be sadly missed. She was blessed with three children who loved her dearly, Kathryn (Jim) McMichael, of RuffsDale; Arthur Eicholtz Jr., of West Mifflin, who passed away in 2012; and Jeffrey (Suzie), of West Mifflin. Her grandchildren were the love of her life and they loved their Grammy: Jimmy (Katie) McMichael, of Greensburg; Kimberly (Travis) Synder, of Scottdale; Sara (Jonathan) Monkelis, of Youngwood; Ian (Samantha) Eicholtz, of Orlando, Fla.; Craig Yogan, of West Mifflin; and Chad Yogan, of Hershey. She found so much joy in the company of her great-grandchildren, Maddox Monkelis, Henry McMichael, Brianna Monkelis, Samuel McMichael and Jagger Eicholtz. She is also survived by her loving sister, Florence Laychak, of Glassport, and many nieces, nephews and relatives. In addition to her husband and son, she was preceded in death by three brothers, John Oley and Steven Oley, of Glassport, and Lawrence Oley, of Georgia (formerly of Glassport).
