Charles A. "Chaz" Ruhe, 53, of Linesville, formerly of West Mifflin, died Monday, Nov. 23, 2015, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born July 28, 1962, in Pittsburgh, son of Charles R. Ruhe, of West Mifflin, and the late Jean (Sable) Ruhe. He was a former television producer and was the publisher of "Distinctive Homes & Living". He was a former member of St. Joseph Church, Duquesne. He loved his Shar-Pei Dogs, Winnie and Chippy. Besides his father, he is survived by his devoted partner, Stevie Rettig. He was the brother of Linda Ruhe, of Palm Springs, Calif., Yvonne (Dave) Blair, of Jefferson Hills, Janet (Scott) Kaufman, of Upper St. Clair; and also five nieces and nephews and two grand-nieces and one grand-nephew.
Visitation will be from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME INC., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, William B. Schleifer, supervisor, William Brian Schleifer, funeral director. Blessing service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015, at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Church with the Rev. Thomas Lewandowski officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Mifflin.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to Animal Safe Haven, White Oak.
