Ellen R. Yurich, 68, of Reserve Township, formerly of West Mifflin, died Sunday, June 28, 2015, at Allegheny General Hospital. She was born April 6, 1947, in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Edward and Anastasia (Vice) Davis. She was a caregiver to her grandchildren, whom she loved deeply. She enjoyed arts, crafts and collected elephants. She was the beloved wife of 26 years to George Yurich; mother of Tim (Dolores) Rose, of West Mifflin, Jim Rose, of West Palm Beach, Fla., Vince (Krystal) Rose, of West Mifflin, and Robert (Kristina) DiVirgilio, of West Mifflin; grandmother of Jessica LeBlanc, Sarah Rose, Katie Hall, Shane Rose, Kacie Rose, Kalie Rose, Esperanc Rose, Tori DiVirgilio and Jackson DiVirgilio, also seven great-grandchildren; and sister of her twin brother, Edward (Doreen) Davis, Jeannine Davis, of West Mifflin, Janet (Ken) Wolfe, of White Oak, LuAnn (Alvin) West, of West Mifflin, John Davis, of West Mifflin, James (Patty) Davis, of West Mifflin, the late Philip (late Janice) Davis and the late Carol (surviving spouse, James) Faust. Visitation from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME INC., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, William B. Schleifer, supervisor, William Brian Schleifer, funeral director. Funeral service will be held at 12:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Lewandowski. Private burial in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
