Isabelle H. Kwiatkowski

Isabelle H. Kwiatkowski, 89, of Sewickley, formerly of Duquesne, died Monday, Sept. 14, 2015, at the home of her son, Bob, in Sewickley. She was born Feb. 16, 1926, in Duquesne, a daughter of the late Stephen and Felicia Kacala. She was a member of Christ the Light of the World Parish in Duquesne and St. James Parish in Sewickley. She graduated from Duquesne High School in 1944 and was a member of the Polish National Alliance for Women. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Kwiatkowski; mother of Robert "Bob" Kwiatkowski, of Sewickley, and Victoria Kwiatkowski, of Moon Township; sister of the late Jane (late Michael) Piskorik, the late Steve (late Blanche) Kacala, the late Edward Kacala and the late Genevieve; aunt of Robert (Barbara) Piskorik, of Oakdale, Dolly (Eugene) McFarland, of Munhall, Bebe (Don) Bair, of Munhall, Felicia (Leonard) Simko, of Munhall, Richard (Casandra) Piskorik, of Florida, and Ronald (Shelia) Piskorik, of Portland, Ore. Visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015, at MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME INC., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, William B. Schleifer, supervisor, William Brian Schleifer, funeral director. Blessing service at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, 2015, at the funeral home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Hedwig Church of Christ the Light of the World Parish, Duquesne, with the Rev. Thomas Lewandowski. Interment in St. Hedwig Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Companion Care, 206 Parkwood Drive, Cranberry Township, PA 16006
