Jason E. Zalice

Jason E. Zalice, 37, of Duquesne, formerly of West Mifflin, died Friday, March 9, 2012, at Kindred Hospital, Oakdale. He was born Nov. 26, 1974, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Eugene and Barbara (Riberich) Zalice. He was a former nurse anesthesist at UPMC Mercy. A member of Christ the Light of the World Parish, Duquesne, he was a 1993 graduate of West Mifflin High School, where he played football. He graduated from CCAC in 1997 with an associate's degree in nursing. He graduated from University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree in nursing in 2000 and received his master's degree as a nurse anesthesist from LaRoche College. Jason was the brother of Geoffrey Zalice, of North Versailles; uncle of Sydnei Zalice; nephew of Ralph (Elaine) Riberich, of West Mifflin, and their sons, Fred and Ralph, Richard (Joann) Riberich, of Forest Hills, and the late Matthew (late Helen) Riberich; also survived by cousins. Memorial visitation will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Name Church, 32 S. First St., Duquesne. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Name Church with the Rev. Dennis Colamarino. Interment at Holy Name Cemetery, West Mifflin. Memorial contributions may be made to Christ the Light of the World Parish, 32 S. First St., Duquesne, PA 15110.
