John W. Binkney Jr., 78, of West Mifflin, died Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015, with his family at his side, surrounded by their love. He was born May 31, 1937, in McKeesport, son of the late John W. and Betty (Anderson) Binkney Sr. He was retired form U.S. Steel Duquesne Works Production Planning with 30 years of service and was a member of Holy Trinity Church, West Mifflin. He was the beloved husband of 48 years to Mary Ellen (Baker) Binkney; father of Lisa (Daryl) Miller, Peters Township, and Mark Binkney, at home; grandfather of Austin and Alena Miller; brother of Virginia Hall, McKeesport, Peggy Wright, McKeesport, and Charles (Mary Ann) Anderson, Monroeville; brother-in-law of Dennis (Patricia) Baker, West Mifflin, Joseph Baker and the late Eugene Baker; also survived by nieces and nephews. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2015 at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUENRAL HOME INC., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, William B. Schleifer, Supervisor, William Brian Schleifer, Funeral Director. Blessing service will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 17, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity church with the Rev. Larry Adams officiating. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery, West Mifflin.
