Joseph "Cheech" Naccarato, 82, of West Mifflin, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was born Oct. 31, 1932, in San Pietro Amanteo Calabria, Italy, son of the late Americo and Maria (Cicero) Naccarato. He worked at family owned Naccarato Bros. Produce in Braddock and retired from J-Jac Construction. He was a member of St. Agnes Church, West Mifflin. He was an avid bowler and gardener and member of the "Thursday Nite Pinbusters" Bowling League at Coral Lanes. He was the husband of Joan (Manns) Naccarato, of 56 years. He is survived by six children, Sherry (Ronald) Messick, of Long Branch, Sandra (Ronald) Kelly, of Pleasant Hills, Jeffrey (Denice) Naccarato, of West Mifflin, Dean Naccarato, of West Mifflin, Melissa (Lou) Petrucci, of Imperial, and Rodney (Patti) Naccarato, of Liberty Borough; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandson; brother, Louis (Yvonne) Naccarato, of Glenshaw; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, George and Bernice Monzak, of West Mifflin. He was predeceased by his infant sister, Gulgermina. Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2015, at MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME INC., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, William B. Schleifer, supervisor, William Brian Schleifer, funeral director. A blessing service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2015, at the funeral home, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St. Agnes Church, West Mifflin with the Rev. Joseph Grosko, officiating. Interment will be in All Saints-Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
