Joyce "Tootsie" Grilli, of West Mifflin, formerly of Duquesne, died Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. Born Feb. 19, 1941, in Chicago, Ill., she was a daughter of the late Adam and Barbara (Dzurney) Derbas. Joyce was retired from Conrad Catering in Homestead. She also worked at Manns Bros., in Duquesne, and was a member of St. Joseph Church, Duquesne. She crocheted, liked NASCAR and was an avid fan of QVC. She was the partner of 30 years to James R. Harmar; mother of Nicholas (fiance, Kim) Grilli, of Forward Township, Robyn Grilli, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., and Debbi Bonacci, of West Mifflin; grandmother of Nicole Grilli, Chelsea Grilli, Dakota Jordan, Brody Grilli, Cody Grilli, Dillon Grilli and Gino Bonacci; great-grandmother of Tyree Saunders, Te'Onna Saunders and Vedastorm Grilli; and sister of Tim Derbas, of Oaklawn, Ill., Barbara (Thom) Goga, of Burbank, Ill., and Peggy Sue (Corky) Brown, of Peioria, Ill. She was loved by the Hamar family.
Memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, in the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME INC., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300. William B. Schleifer, Supervisor, William Brian Schleifer, Funeral Director, where a blessing service will follow at 5:30 p.m., with the Rev. Thomas Lewandowski officiating.
