Lu Ann L. ((Davis)) West

Lu Ann L. (Davis) West, 61, of West Mifflin, died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2016, at home. Born Sept. 26, 1954, in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Edward "Pap Tim" and Anastasia "Stella" (Vajs) Davis. She was a member of Ardara United Presbyterian Church. She loved to cook and loved her grandchildren. She was the beloved wife of 43 years to Alvin J. West; mother of Alvin G. (Stephanie) West, of West Mifflin, John (Melissa) West, of Richmond, Va., and Michael West, of West Mifflin; grandmother of Kaleb West, Kylie West and Olivia West; and sister of Edward (Doreen) Davis, of Plum, Jean Davis, of West Mifflin, Janet (Ken) Wolf, of White Oak, John Davis, of West Mifflin, James (Patricia) Davis, of West Mifflin, and the late Philip (late Janice) Davis, late Carol (surviving spouse, James) Faust, of West Mifflin, and late Ellen R. (surviving spouse, George) Yurich, of Reserve Township.
Visitation from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME INC., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, William B. Schleifer, supervisor, William Brian Schleifer, funeral director. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2016, in the funeral home with Pastor Glenn Myers officiating. Interment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
