Patricia "Teresa" Dyakon Lubinski

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Patricia "Teresa" Dyakon Lubinski, 94, of White Oak, formerly of Duquesne, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015. She was a daughter of the late Pauline Dyakon Krotovich and Frank Dyakon, and stepdaughter of the late Andrew Krotovich. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Anna D. Krivacek and Mary Brush; and her brothers, John, George and Michael Dyakon. She is survived by a sister, Pauline Perhacs, of McKeesport; and a brother, Andrew Dyakon, of North Huntingdon. She is a "special aunt" of Phillip T. Krivacek, Alison Piccolino, Patricia Tonks, Phillip C. Krivacek, Pamela Olayos, Paula Baumgart, Barbara Palmieri, Nancy Scopelitis, Alvin and Robert Perhacs, Edward Brush, William, Ronald and Raymond Dyakon and Andrew and Gregory Dyakon; also many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was a member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, Duquesne. Patricia loved her family deeply and the glitz and glamour of life. She loved to Jitterbug on the dance floor and share her recipes, which will last for generations. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME INC., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, William B. Schleifer, supervisor, William Brian Schleifer, funeral director. Additional visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of her funeral Liturgy at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4, 2016, at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, Catherine Street, Duquesne. A Parastas service will be held at noon Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Cemetery, West Mifflin. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, Cemetery Fund.
