Penelope A. "Penny" Irwin

Penelope A. "Penny" Irwin, 49, of Versailles, formerly of Duquesne, died Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, at home. She was born Sept. 22, 1966, in McKeesport, a daughter of Judith (Kratzenberg) Irwin Jones, of Port Vue, and Thomas Irwin. She is survived by her longtime companion, Marvin Davis Sr., of Versailles; children, Marvin Davis Jr., of Versailles, Tamla Irwin and Marcus Davis, both of Duquesne, Lee Ann Davis, of West Mifflin, and Chalfonte Demery, of McKeesport; 10 grandchildren; and brother, Randy Irwin, of Champion. She enjoyed being around her family the most.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2016, at MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME INC., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne (412-466-3300; William B. Schleifer, supervisor; William Brian Schleifer, funeral director), where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016, Irene Sims, minister, officiating.
