Virginia M. Valiquette, 86, of West Mifflin, formerly of Duquesne, died Thursday, March 24, 2016, at Eldercrest Nursing Center, Munhall. She was born Feb. 8, 1930, in Duquesne, a daughter of the late Edgar and Martha (Kwadrat) Johnson. She was a retired secretary for Suburban Urologic Associates and a member of the former West Mifflin Annex Senior Citizens. She was the beloved wife of 66 years to William H. Valiquette Jr.; mother of the late Janet Renshaw (surviving spouse, Douglas) and William H. (Chris Ann) Valiquette III, of West Mifflin; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; aunt of Skippy Diest, of Florida; and sister of the late Rita Diest. She is also survived by her aunt, Clara Kwadrat, formerly of West Mifflin.
Memorial visitation from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2016, followed by services at 7 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME INC., 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, William B. Schleifer, supervisor, William Brian Schleifer, funeral director, with Pastor Peter S. Roy. Interment will be at a future date at McKeesport-Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport.
