EVAN S. BROMAN
Age 75, of West Mifflin, on October 7, 2017. He was the son of the late Evan E. and Susan (Paule) Broman. He was a retired music teacher from West Mifflin School District where he was also the marching band director at the former West Mifflin North High School. He was a retired professional musician playing the trombone for the Civic Light Opera for over 50 years. He also played for top line entertainers. Evan also enjoyed golf, beach vacations, Steelers, spending time with family and was his grandchildren's number one fan at their sporting events. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and he graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and had a master's degree from Duquesne University. Beloved husband of 52 years to Stephene (Holko) Broman; father of Heidi (Todd) Peters of Bethel Park; grandfather of Allison Peters and Owen Peters; brother-in-law of Maureen (Dave) Smith of Elizabeth Twp.; also survived by nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, John Broman and Richard (surviving spouse, Louise) Broman of West Mifflin. There will be no visitation. Private burial was at Richland Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of his life at the South Hills Bible Chapel, 300 Gallery Dr., McMurray, PA 15317 on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. with Pastor Ron Moore officiating.
