Ruth M. Fassinger age 90, of West Mifflin, on June 22, 2017, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Marion (Yost) Schorr. She formerly worked at Hills Department Store, Kennywood Mall. She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Duquesne and their Confraternity of Christian Mothers and Guild. She was an honorary member of the GFWC Women’s Club of Duquesne. She was the beloved wife of 59 years to the late Raymond F. Fassinger; mother of Judith (Dennis) Turner of Kennewick, WA, Robert (”Sue”) Fassinger of Elizabeth Twp., Richard (Linda) Fassinger of Elizabeth Twp. Also four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Robert (surviving spouse Eileen) Schorr of West Mifflin. Visitation Sunday, June 25, 2017, from 12-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the MALOY - SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, where a Blessing Service will be held on Monday at 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church at 10 a.m. Rev. Thomas Lewandowski, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Mifflin.
