Alfred "Al" Ernst

Alfred “Al” Ernst, age 73, of West Mifflin, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Born in Pittsburgh on December 21, 1946, he was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Ernst. He was the owner of Al Ernst Window Cleaning Co., was an avid Penguins, Steelers and Pirates fan, enjoyed fishing and was excellent at horseshoes, darts & pool. He was the husband of 16 years to Jill (Fouser) Ernst; father of Joe (Tammie) Ernst of Jefferson Hills and Chad Ernst of Clairton; grandfather of Tristin, Emerick, Macksim & Ensleigh Ernst; step father of Dena (Kevin) Wright of Leesburg, VA, Jennifer Stefan of West Mifflin, Michael (Lizz) Skovranko of Erie; step grandfather of Katie Wright, Jocelyn Stefan, Ryan Stefan, Jacob Stefan, Dean Stefan and Aria Skovranko. He is also survived by several step brothers and step sisters. Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 5-7 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER-SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER-FUNERAL DIRECTOR, at which time services will be held.
