Arlene M. Pauly

Arlene M. Pauly, age 81, of West Mifflin, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022, at home.  Born in McKeesport on October 9, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Thaddeus “Ted” and Josephine (Pacacha) Debiak. She retired from Allegheny Van Lines, worked at the PIA, was a secretary at the Elks and did catering at the West Mifflin #3 Fire Hall. She was a former member of the Thompson Club, and she enjoyed going out to eat and socializing with her friends. Arlene was the wife of the late David Pauly; mother of Laura (late David) Salopek of North Huntingdon and Richard Kontra; sister of Ted W. (Lenora) Debiak of West Mifflin and Kenneth A. Debiak of Munhall; loving aunt of Elizabeth (Clinton) Hittle of Trout Run, PA and their daughter, Catherine. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022, from 1-4 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR, where a funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Following the visitation, a funeral luncheon will take place at the West Mifflin Fire Hall #3. A private burial will be held at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
