Arnetta F. (Fawcett) Shimko

Arnetta F. (Fawcett) Shimko, age 93, of Whitaker, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022, in Kane Regional Center-McKeesport. Born in Duquesne on August 20, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Robert Shields and Leona Pearl (Krah) Fawcett. She was a former member of the Community of the Crucified One, enjoyed crafts and working with children, and conducted small Bible study at Kane. She was the beloved wife of the late John James Shimko; mother of David Stewart Graham of Jamestown, PA and late Denise Adams (late Robert Adams); sister of the late Barry (surviving spouse Mary Lee) Fawcett of Whitaker, late Cheryl (surviving spouse Glenn) Andres of West Mifflin, late Robert (late Millie) Fawcett; 2 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation. Committal service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022, at 1:00 p.m., at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
