Barbara A. Kapa

Barbara A. Kapa, age 77, of White Oak, formerly of Duquesne, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025, in UPMC East. Born in Braddock on March 28, 1948, she was the daughter of the late John Kudrec and Philomena (Owens) Huzdovich. She was a former beautician and liked antiquing and collecting anything old.

She is the mother of Philomena Such of White Oak, Robert Bell of McKeesport and Tammy Coleman of White Oak; grandmother of Danielle, Joshua, Brandon, Steven, Amanda, Cheyanne & Dylan; numerous great grandchildren; and sister of Eugene Huzdovich of Munhall, Janet (late Stevie) Hudak of North Huntingdon, Noreen (late Norbert “Butch”) Aikman of Munhall, late John (late Ellie) Kudrec, late Dennis (late Debbie) Kudrec, and late Shirley Golofsky. She is also survived by numerous cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday July 7, 2025, from 4-8 p.m., at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., with Pastor Trennon Neal officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth.
