Carlotta M. Halyama

Carlotta M. Halyama, age 80, of West Mifflin, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, at her daughter’s home. Born in Midland, PA on February 27, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas DeNardo and Mary (Glovis) DeNardo. She had worked as a nurse at McKeesport Hospital and Locust Grove. One of her proudest moments was becoming a nurse later in life.

She was the wife of the late George A. Halyama for 56 years; mother of Tina (Wayne) Emery of West Mifflin, Denice (Bob) Allan of Cranberry Twp. and April Dziaminski of Pleasant Hills; grandmother of Christina (Anthony Killmeyer) Emery, Gabriella (Brent Cubakovic) Emery, Jacqueline Emery, Logan McCue, Landon Dziaminski, Liam Dziaminski, Mary Frances Halyama, Robbie Halyama, Jamie Halyama, Andrew Halyama and Oakley Jenco; great grandmother of Alden Jean Killmeyer; sister of late Sal (late Nancy) DeNardo and Nick (late Carol) Denardo of Lorain, OH; niece of Helen Uchnar of Versailles; and aunt of Carl DeNardo, Yvonne (David) Tutera, Pamela DeNardo, Nick DeNardo and Dominic DeNardo.
