Catherine P. "Cathy" Tomko

Catherine P. “Cathy” Tomko, age 77, of West Mifflin, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at home. Born in Pittsburgh on October 19, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Grace (Gables) Shannon. She worked in Media Sales, was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish-St. Agnes Church, enjoyed boating, traveling, cruising all over the world with her husband Dean, and was a devoted “GG” and “Auntie.” Cathy is survived by her husband of 14 years, Dean Tomko; children, Michelle (Brian) Blankenship of Morgantown, WV, Heather (Jon) Wagner of Haymarket, VA, Meghan (Ryan) Kruse of West Deer, Laurel Wentz of Blowingrock, NC, Jeff (Bridgette) Tomko of Danville; niece, Kelly Kuhn of Reserve Twp.; sisters, Thomasine (Mickey) Glamp of Reserve Twp and the late Deborah Marafiotti; grandchildren, Savannah Dervis, Reilly Wagner, Jack Wagner, Grant Wagner, Zach Kruse, Hayden Kruse, Liam Tomko, Tessa Tomko, and Breece Tomko. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Agnes Church, 622 St. Agnes Lane, West Mifflin, 15122, with Rev. Dan Sweeney, officiating. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
