Cecelia Eileen Grooms

Cecelia Eileen Grooms, age 80, of West Mifflin, passed away on March 4, 2023, at Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center, in Mechanicsville, VA. Born in McKeesport on September 12, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Ella (Vranesevic) Ferencz. She was a former sales associate and a former beautician. She was the wife of the late John W. Grooms Sr.; mother of J. Wayne (Tammy) Grooms Jr. of Mechanicsville, VA and late Jeannine M. Hines; grandmother of Ronald W. Hines and Shauney M. Chicka-Hines; sister of Richard (Elsie) Ferencz of West Mifflin, Joanne (Andy) Cerpani of West Mifflin and late James (wife Audrey survives) Ferencz of Penn Hills; stepsister of the late Ray (late Donna) Moss. Visitation will be held on Maundy Thursday, April 6, 2023, from 10:30-11:00 A.M. at Christ Lutheran Church-Duquesne, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor John Gropp, officiating.
