Charles E. “Chuck” Waddle, age 90, of Duquesne, passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023, in Jefferson Hospital. Born in Blairsville, PA on November 13,1933, he was the son of the late James and Martha Agnes (Dunlap) Waddle. He was retired from Financial Accounting Services in Pittsburgh, was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish-St. Joseph Church, was an avid hunter and enjoyed playing solitaire on the computer. He coached the Tigers baseball team for Duquesne Little League Baseball. He proudly served his country, in the Army, during the Korean War. He was the beloved husband of the late Bernice (Rusinko) Waddle, who died on February 12, 2006. He is the father of Dennis Waddle of Duquesne, Denise Waddle of Slickville, and Duane (Carol Pasquarelli) Waddle, his caregivers, of Duquesne; brother of the late William (late Joanne) Waddle, Late James (surviving spouse Mitsue) Waddle of El Paso, TX, late Margie (late Jonas) Stuchal, and late Edna Grace “Ted” (late Norman L. “Date”) McGinity. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR. A Blessing Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, at St. Joseph Church, Duquesne, at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Nick Mastrangelo officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Mifflin, with Military Honors.
