Obituary

Christopher J. “Chris” Golofski, age 73, of Bethel Park, passed away on September 8, 2021, at home. Son of the late Manuel and Mary (Tverdos) Golofski, he was born in Braddock on September 3, 1948. He was a retired light rail operator from the Port Authority, president of the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum in Washington, PA, collected trains, trolleys and airplanes, and was a member of Bethel Lodge F & AM. He is the husband of Rosemarie “Rose” (Paulik) Golofski; father of Susan (Richard) Senovich of Saegertown and David (Ashley) Bennett of Shelbyville, KY; grandfather of Timothy Senovich, Megan Senovich, Natalie Blumer, Colin Bennett, Felicity Bennett, Logan (Faye) Bennett and Cody Bennett. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR, during which time a Blessing Service will be held at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Jack Demnyan officiating.
