David R. "Red" Bowers

David R. “Red” Bowers, age 68, of West Mifflin, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022. Son of the late William and Clara (Rossner) Bowers, he was born in McKeesport, on May 9, 1954. He was a retired carpenter from Boyer & Pentek in McKeesport, was a graduate of West Mifflin North High School Class of 1972 and was looking forward to his 50 year reunion. His hobby was woodworking. He is the husband of Janice (Jenkins) Bowers of Munhall; father of Sara Bowers and Kahla (“Bo”) Hodgkiss of Canonsburg; brother of Louise (late Rick) Broman of West Mifflin, Claire (Tom) Bellas of Elizabeth, Judy (George) Verlich of Ohio, Laura Chuha of West Mifflin, Carole (late Tom) School of West Mifflin, Lola (Tom) Richards of Jefferson Hills and the late Bill Bowers. There will be a celebration of David’s life on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at the Village Idiot, 1840 Homeville Rd., West Mifflin, PA 15122. All are welcome to join.
