Edward James "Ed" Bailey

Edward James “Ed” Bailey, age 54, of West Mifflin, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023, at UPMC Presbyterian. Born in McKeesport on February 15, 1969, he is the son of John R. Bailey of Duquesne and the late Patricia (Vavra) Bailey. He was employed in maintenance at St. Therese Plaza in Munhall, built model cars, liked music and had a passion for guitars. Ed is the husband of Sandra “Sandy” (Golofsky) Bailey for 34 years; father of Wesley Bailey of West Mifflin, Courtney Bailey and husband Nathan Hibbs of Baldwin and Dylan Sanders of West Mifflin; and brother of John P. (Jodi) Bailey of Brandon, FL and the late Jay P. Bailey. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, from 2-8 p.m., at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR. A Prayer Service will take place at the Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., followed by burial in All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery.
