Edward Prokay Obituary


EDWARD “BOOTSO” PROKAY age 90, of West Mifflin, on April 27, 2018, at his home. He was the son of the late Lucas and Ann Majoros Prokay. He retired from Union Railroad as a mechanic and also as a truck driver from Rogan Hauling where he hauled slag from the mill to fill in the Duquesne Village Shopping Center. He proudly served his country in the Army during WWII. Brother of Margaret Estok of West Mifflin and the late Ann Ciglan, Irene Juhasz, Joseph, Alex and James Prokay; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the MALOY - SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300 where a Blessing Service will be held     at 1 p.m. Rev. Thomas Lewandowski, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Mifflin, with military honors.
