Geraldine M. "Gerry" Adams Skanderson

Geraldine M. “Gerry” Adams Skanderson, age 84, formerly of West Mifflin, passed away on July 2, 2025. Born in Duquesne on April 2, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Marie (Staszak) Lusckay. She was a retired Administrative Assistant for the Diocese of Pittsburgh and a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish-Holy Trinity Church. She loved dancing, aerobics and shopping.

She is the mother of Fr. Larry Adams of Pittsburgh and Michael (Pam) Adams of Pleasant Hills; grandmother of Zachary Adams and Joshua Adams (Julia Bersani); and sister of Larry (Donna) Lusckay of West Mifflin.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 4, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B.  SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR. A Blessing Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Church, West Mifflin, at 10:00 a.m., with Very Rev. Mark Eckman, celebrant, and Fr. Larry Adams, homilist. Burial will follow in St. Hedwig Cemetery.
