Geraldine R. Rusnak

Geraldine R. Rusnak age 83, of Duquesne, passed away on August 24, 2020, at home. Born in Bunola on October 25, 1936, she was the daughter of the late John & Martha (Jenkins) Crocci.  Geraldine loved her family and her grandchildren and enjoyed cooking.  She was the wife of the late George Rusnak; mother of Eleanor (Martin “Marty”) Steimer of Elizabeth Twp., Denise (Eric) Pommer of Duquesne, Elizabeth “Beth” (Chris Lengyel) Rusnak of Pittsville, David Rusnak of Duquesne, Diane (Thomas) Rusnak of Duquesne, the late Dale Rusnak and the late Darla (Late Ken) Ference; grandmother of Joe Lengyel, Brian Steimer, Kathryn Stasko, Michelle Lengyel, Kelsey Ference, Sara Pommer and Leah Williams; great grandmother of Leo Stasko, Holly Stasko, Liam Ference and Emberly Patterson; sister of Nina Trappen of McKeesport, Martha Lowry of Ohio; predeceased by brothers and sisters Ambrose Crocci, John & Francis McClelland, Cecelia, Patricia, Josephine & Jane.  Visitation will held on Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, August 28 at 10:00 a.m. with Chaplain Mark Snavely officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Name Cemetery, West Mifflin.  The family would like to give a special thank you for the loving and compassionate care given to their mother and grandma by Sara & Leah. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, visitation will be limited to 25 people in the funeral home at one time and masks must be worn.
