Gregory E. “Geddy” Gedman, age 63, of Duquesne, passed away on Wednesday, November 24, 2021. Born in McKeesport on February 16, 1958, he was the son of the late Bernard and Mary Lou (Asmonga) Gedman. He was a plasterer artist, a member of Holy Name Church of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, an avid golfer and enjoyed baking and cooking. He is the father of Amber Gedman of Pittsburgh and Karlee Gedman of West Mifflin; partner of Laura “Lola” Marsh; brother of Linda (Melvin Worrall) Gedman of Duquesne, Deborah Gedman DeBellis of Duquesne, Jeffrey (Cindi) Gedman of Duquesne, Veronica (Raymond) Eichelberger of North Versailles; Jayne (Jason) Gedman Juarez of Dallas, GA and Vivian (Christopher) Celaschi of Rostraver. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021, from 12-6 p.m., at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR, where Parting Prayers will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Name Church, Duquesne, at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Robert Seeman, officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to his family.
