Jack B. Dowler, age 65, of Duquesne, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025, at his residence. Born in McKeesport on March 9, 1960, he was the son of the late Homer and Evelyn (Dorchak) Dowler. He was a retired computer programmer at Curtis Wright EMD and was Catholic by faith. He played football for Duquesne High School on their 1978 WPIAL Championship Team. He was also a state champion for high school wrestling. He loved coaching softball.
Jack is the father of Robyn (Nick) Rosso of West Mifflin and Matthew (Missi) Dowler of Baldwin; grandfather of Nathaniel, Aurora and Gwendolyn Rosso; great grandfather of Jesus Martinez; and brother of Lynn, Kathleen Asmondy of Michigan, Stacey (Steve) Surmick of Elizabeth and the late Wayne Dowler.
There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., at the West Mifflin Fire Hall #3. Everyone is welcome.
