Jane F. Ondechek, age 80, of Duquesne, passed away on December 6, 2021, at UPMC McKeesport. Born in Duquesne on January 20, 1941, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Ominowicz) Ondechek. Jane was a retired secretary from Meyers, Daragh, Buckler, Bebenek and Eck, was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, Holy Trinity Church, a member of the GFWC Women’s Club of Duquesne, enjoyed dressing up and good meals. Jane was the sister of Paul (late Connie) Ondechek of Munhall; aunt of Beth (Travis) Knapp of West Mifflin and Jack (Laura Ivaska) Ondechek of Munhall; great aunt of Samantha Bruner; and is also survived by her extended family, the Spells. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 2-6 p.m., at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR, where a Blessing will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021 at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Trinity Church, West Mifflin, at 10:00 a.m., with Rev. Nick Mastrangelo officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, West Mifflin.
