Joseph M. Sabol Jr., age 91, of Duquesne, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at The Grove in North Huntingdon. Born in West Mifflin on October 11, 1930, he was the son of the late Joseph M. Sr. and Mary (Petras) Sabol. He was a retired steelworker from U.S. Steel-Homestead Works and a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish-St. Agnes Church, where he was an usher. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Korean War. Joseph is the beloved husband of Loretta (Kukta) Sabol for 65 years; father of Joseph (Cynthia) Sabol of South Fayette; grandfather of Andrew Joseph Sabol, Lauren (Matthew) Reick and Rachel Staley; and great grandfather of Logan. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Agnes Church-West Mifflin, with Rev. Dan Sweeney, officiating. Military Honors will follow.
