Lawrence A. “Larry” Vash, age 69, of West Mifflin, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Born in Homestead, PA, on March 20, 1955, he was the son of the late Albert and Margaret (Moriarty) Vash. He was a retired crane man from Bristol Metals, a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish-St. Therese Church, and a life member of the Homeville Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing.
Larry is the husband of Mary Ann (Bucek) Vash; father of Michael (Kathy) Vash of Roscoe, PA and Craig Vash (Lori Campbell) of West Mifflin; grandfather of Grace, Jacob, Emma, Gavin and Dominic Vash; and brother of Verda (Stephen) Mastandrea of West Mifflin, Cathy (Gerald) Noga of West View, PA and the late Alberta Vash.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 5-8 p.m., at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR, where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 11:15 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, at 12 Noon, in St. Therese of Lisieux Church, Munhall, with Rev. Dan D’Antonio officiating.
