Mark Brady Obituary

Mark Brady, age 63, of Duquesne, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024, in Forbes Hospital. Born in McKeesport on August 27, 1960, he was the son of the late Donald W. and Doris (Ignat) Brady.

He was a retired welder at Hantz Locomotive and Dura Bond and formerly worked as a bartender at the T M Club in Duquesne. He proudly served his country in the Navy. He was a former member of the former Holy Name Church of Christ the Light of the World Paris, enjoyed bowling, fishing, building cabinets, watching sports, and spending time with his family and his dogs.

He is the beloved husband of 30 years to Vicki (Scharer) Brady; father of Melissa (Kevin) Russell of Kalamazoo, MI; step father of Christopher (girlfriend, Jen Vasy) Kisiel of Duquesne and Nicholas Kisiel of Munhall; grandfather of Emerson and Elijah Russell; brother of Donald Brady of Duquesne and Victoria (Kern) Little of Indian Head, PA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 4, from 2-8 p.m., at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC. 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR, where a Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Thomas Dansak, officiating, followed by military honors.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions should be made to St. Jude Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
