Martin F. Davis, age 67, of Elizabeth Twp., passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at home. Born in Homestead on November 17, 1957, he was the son of the late Martin and Rosemary (Rushe) Davis. He was retired from Local 12 as a laborer and from Smith Transport where he was a driver for the oil fields. For 30 years, he and his wife Gayle would go to Michigan for McRiver Raid Canoe Trips. He proudly served his country in the Navy.
Martin is the husband of 30 years to Gayle (Moran) Davis; father of Davina Marie (Ben) Antonoff of West Mifflin, David Barker of Hookstown, PA and Jenny (AJ) Smith of Pleasant Hills; grandfather of Nathan Antonoff, Mason and Cheyanne Smith, and the late Wyatt Barker; brother of Colleen (late Robert) Chudicek of West Mifflin and the late Maureen Hoffman; son-in-law of Fred (late Mary Jane) Moran of Ruffsdale; and brother-in-law of Donald (Kathy) Weber of West Mifflin and Mike (Becky) Moran of Ruffsdale. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 2-6 p.m., at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR, where Funeral Services will be held at 5:30 p.m., with Deacon Ron Demblowski, officiating, followed by presentation of Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the White Oak Safe Haven, 2295 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131.
