Mary Catherine Baves

Mary Catherine Baves, age 72, of West Homestead, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. Born in Braddock on July 27, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Stanley R. and Alice Styk. She was a retired clerk for the City of Pittsburgh School District, enjoyed reading books, was an excellent cook and collected knick knacks.

She is the wife of 46 years to Michael L. Baves; sister of Debbie (George) Hreha of Boardman, OH, Robert (Late Brenda) Styk of Dubois, Janis (Scot) Ford of New Brighton, Beverly (Gary) Styk of North East, PA, Stanley (Diane) Styk of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and the late Carol Jean Styk; sister-in-law of Loretta May “Cookie” (Bruce) Miller of New Smyrna, FL.
