Meliss A. "Missy" Selvaggio

Meliss A. “Missy” Selvaggio, age 65, of West Mifflin, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025. Born in Pittsburgh on November 22, 1959, she was the daughter of the late James Robson Williams and Catherine (Gruber) Williams.

She was a hairdresser and former co-owner of Dolly Allen Beauty Shop of West Mifflin. She also taught at Allegheny Beauty Academy in Dravosburg. She liked gardening, playing backgammon, decorating for the holidays, cooking and animals. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandson, Henry, and she loved her cat, Penelope.

Missy is the loving wife of John Selvaggio for 39 years; mother of Lauren (Bill) Lesko of Pleasant Hills and Eric (Anthony Stotlemyer) Selvaggio of West Mifflin; grandmother of Henry Lesko; and sister of Jamie (Lisa) Williams of Chandler, AZ. She is also survived by numerous cousins.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER AND ALLAN J. WEBER, FUNERAL DIRECTORS. A Commemoration and Celebration of her Life will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the Maloy-Schleifer Funeral Home, conducted by Allan J. Weber.
