Mildred "Becky" Suzich

Mildred “Becky” Suzich, age 94, of White Oak, formerly of Duquesne, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. Born in Midland, PA on July 10, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Vujo and Sophie (Bassar) Suzich. She was a food and beverage clerk at the William Penn Hotel for 35 years, a member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, McKeesport and a member of their Young at Heart. Becky is the mother of Lora Dean (Dennis) Washowich of McKeesport; grandmother of Lyle (Michele) Washowich and Lynn (Amber) Washowich; great grandmother of Michael, Samuel, Aiden and Ava; great aunt of Diane, Melinda, David and Christine Tkacs, and Bill Margita; sister of the late Ann Suzich, late Kay Margita and late Dorothy Suzich. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR, where a Pomen service will take place at 7:00 p.m. A Burial Service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, with Very Rev. Stevo Rocknage, officiating. Burial will follow in McKeesport-Versailles Cemetery.
