Miriam L. Harshman, age 94, of Biloxi, Mississippi, formerly of Duquesne, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025, in The Pillars, Biloxi, MS. Born in McKeesport on November 26, 1930, she was the daughter of the late John and Emma (Raible) Boyce.
She had worked at Murphy’s, Greens, and Sears as a cashier. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, former St. Joseph and Holy Name Parish and was a former member of the Women of the Moose.
She was the wife of the late Charles O. Harshman. She is the mother of Barb (Bill) Baird of Beaver Falls, John Harshman of East McKeesport, Bob (Cheryl) Harshman of East McKeesport, Linda (John) Yuhasz of West Mifflin, Kathleen (Dennis) Procacina of North Versailles, Terry (Donna) Harshman of West Mifflin, Amy (Mike) Ballough of Biloxi, MS, Mickey (Sandra) Harshman of Biloxi, MS, Thomas Harshman of West Mifflin, Daniel (Tammy) Harshman of Greenock, late Charles Harshman (wife Sigrid survives) and late Margaret E. “Margie” (Brian Patterson survives) Budai of West Mifflin; 30 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 5 sisters and 1 brother.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR, where a Blessing Service will take place on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., with Fr. Benedict Faneye officiating. Burial will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon.
