Pamela Sue (Kulus) Brown, age 55, of Braddock Hills, formerly of Duquesne, passed away on May 9, 2021, at UPMC Shadyside. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii on September 7, 1965, she was the daughter of Constance Tassone (Dombrosky) and the late Thomas Kulus. She was a former legal secretary for a Pittsburgh law firm and a longtime waitress at Pizza Hut-Duquesne. She loved being with her family, which was everything to her, and she enjoyed going to Kennywood, lottery tickets and her cat, Pumpkin. She was the wife of the late Paul Afanasieff. Survivors include her mother, Constance (Tassone) Dombrosky and her step-father, Gerald Dombrosky of Elizabeth Twp.; daughter, Heather Brown of North Braddock; siblings Thomas (Jacqueline) Kulus of West Mifflin, Cindy (Jim) Capell of Monroeville and Marie (Bryan) Krasneski of South Park. She was a doting and loving aunt of Tanner, Bennett and Ethan Kulus, Katie and Jimmy Capell and Ariana and Colton Krasneski; step-mother of Jesse Afanasieff and step-grandmother of Shane and Cailey Afanasieff. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR, where a Blessing Service will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021, at 9:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Joseph Church of St Thomas the Apostle Parish, Duquesne, with the Rev. Thomas Lewandowski officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery, Monongahela, PA.
