Patricia E. "Pat" Jakub

Patricia E. “Pat” Jakub, age 80, of West Mifflin, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at home. Born in McKeesport, on December 4, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Agnes (Reichenbach) Romanek. She was a retired registrar for Duquesne University, a member of St. Agnes Church of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, and she volunteered at the former St. Agnes School in West Mifflin. Pat loved her family more than anything, especially her grandchildren. She was the beloved wife of William D. Jakub for 59 years; mother of Joell (Mack) McSheehy of Monroeville and Jill (Jay) McKelvey of Greenock; grandmother of Collin McSheehy, Courtney McSheehy, Jaymee McKelvey and Jakub McKelvey; great grandmother of Ella Joell; and sister of Geraldine (late Harry) Reilly of Idaho Falls, ID. Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 6-8 p.m. and Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 9-11 a.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR, with a Blessing Service at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, at 11:30 a.m., at St. Agnes Church, West Mifflin, with Rev. Thomas Lewandowski, officiating.
