Phyllis Marie (Hoffman) Lowery

Phyllis Marie (Hoffman) Lowery, age 60, of North Huntingdon, formerly of North Versailles, on January 8, 2022, passed peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loved ones, of Polygenic Progressive Aphasia. Born in Braddock on October 19, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Charles A. “Chuck” and Margaret Ann “Maggie” (Reese) Hoffman. She was a former secretary of the East Allegheny School District. She was a devoted wife, mother, grammy, sister, and daughter. She is the beloved wife of 37 years to Terry Lee Lowery; mother of Justin (Danielle) Lowery of North Huntingdon and Kelly (Richard “Ricky”) Svesnik of Ligonier; grandmother of Grayson Lee Lowery, Jackson Allen Svesnik and Tyler Lee Svesnik, and also a future granddaughter; sister of Charles “Chucky” (Karen Yahner) Hoffman of Wellsburg, WV, Robert “Bobby” Hoffman of Harrison City, Joanne (Jim) Stinson of Pearland, TX, Judith “Judy” (Brett) Melisko of Belle Vernon and the late infant, James Hoffman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her grand-dogs, Bailey and Lily. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR, where parting prayers will be held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at 9:15 a.m., followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Good Shepherd Church of St. Joseph the Worker Parish. Burial will follow in Monongahela Cemetery, North Braddock.
