Raymond E. Tubbs, age 84, of Duquesne, passed away on November 29, 2021, at UPMC East-Monroeville. Born in East Pittsburgh on February 10, 1937, he was the son of the late Raymond E. and Gertrude (McMullen) Tubbs Sr. Ray was retired from the U.S. Air Force with 21 years of service, was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Duquesne, Teutonia Mannerchor Club in Duquesne, and the Dravosburg American Legion Post #0380. He is the loving husband to Lois J. (Gorscak) Tubbs for 24 years; father of 4 sons; stepfather of Beth (Lou) Chillinsky of Irwin, Robert Burwell II of Frederick, MD and the late Michael Burwell; brother of Gertrude (late Bill) Carter of Florida, Catherine (late Dom) Spinozzi of McKeesport and Dolores Snyder of Bethlehem, PA.; step grandchildren, Robert (Shawna) Chillinsky and Jonathon (Melissa) Chillinsky; 5 step great grandchildren, Roman, Lilyana, Sophia, Luna, and Willow. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 2-4 p.m. when Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR, with Pastor John Gropp officiating, followed by presentation of Military Honors. Private burial will be held at Penn Lincoln Cemetery.
