Rebecca R. (Winks) Buchleitner

Rebecca R. (Winks) Buchleitner, age 90, formerly of North Versailles, PA, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022, at the home of her daughter in Hendersonville, TN. Born in Pittsburgh on August 7, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen (Nowinckle) Winks. She formerly worked at Union Switch and Signal as a Tar Baby and was also a seamstress at a drapery factory and a men’s clothing store. Most of all, she was a wife and mother. She liked to crochet, square dance and be on her C.B. radio. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Buchleitner; mother of Patricia (Carl) McNickle of Hendersonville, TN and the late Robert John Buchleitner and late Robert William Buchleitner; grandmother of Brandon (Brittany) McNickle and CJ (Nora) McNickle; great grandmother of Layla Grace McNickle & Mason James McNickle and Chasen Edward & Reagan Leigh McNickle; and sister of the late Raymond (late Phyllis) Winks. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, from Noon-2:00 p.m., at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR, where a Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. John Barker, officiating. Burial will follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park.
