Robert W. "Rob" Fleckenstein

Robert W. “Rob” Fleckenstein, age 44, of McKeesport, passed away on September 5, 2021 at Forbes Regional Hospital. Beloved son of Wayne and Mary (Hock) Fleckenstein of McKeesport, Rob was born in McKeesport on February 6, 1977. He was a retired salesman and a former priest of the Diocese of Pittsburgh. He was a graduate of Serra Catholic High School in 1995, Indiana University of Pennsylvania and St. Vincent Seminary in 2010 with two masters degrees in Divinity and Philosophy. He enjoy playing, listening to and composing music and was involved with the Pittsburgh Cursillo Movement. Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister Julie (Daniel Hayes) Fleckenstein of Turtle Creek and Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 1-9 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sts. Joachim and Anne Parish, St. Michael Church, in Elizabeth Twp., on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop David Zubik as the main celebrant. Everyone please meet at Church. Interment will follow in St. Mary German Cemetery in McKeesport.
