Ronald M. Kurta

Ronald M. Kurta, age 64, of Duquesne, passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, in UPMC Presbyterian. Born in McKeesport on October 3, 1960, he was the son of the late John Kurta and Eleanor (Parsons) Eagle. He was a retired truck driver for PNM Trucking and McKee Asphalt. He enjoyed hunting, boating, fishing and riding his motorcycle. Ron most especially liked spending time with his grandchildren.

Ron and his wife Debra (Pugh) Kurta have been together for 46 years. He is the father of Michael (Ashley) Kurta of Duquesne, Jonathon Kurta of North Versailles, and Rebecca Kurta (Ronald) of Port Vue; grandfather of Nicholas Kurta, Keegan (Nick) Kurta, Bentley Kurta, Declan Spell, Liam Kurta, Austin Kurta, Eli Kurta, Richard Jasek, Robbie Jasek, Riley Jasek, and Raelyn Jasek; brother of Mark Kurta of Wikins Twp,., Shawn (Melina) Pruszko of West Mifflin, Kevin (Sue) Kurta of West Mifflin and the late John Kurta (wife, Roberta survives) of Monroeville.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, from 12-6 p.m., at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR, followed by a Funeral Service, at 6:00 p.m., with Samuel McCullough, officiating.
