Sandra J. “Sandy” (Macko) Kosko

Sandra J. “Sandy” (Macko) Kosko, age 83, of West Mifflin, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at home, surrounded by the love of her family. She was a former secretary at U. S. Steel-Homestead Works and a member of  St. Thomas the Apostle Parish-former Holy Name Church. Sandy loved the Pirates, antiquing, and being a co-pilot for her daughter Kathy. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed a cup of tea with Wise potato chips. She was the loving wife of the late Ronald “Dewey” Kosko for 54 years; cherished mother of Ronald Kosko of Pittsburgh, Kathryn (William) McCormick of Monongahela, Michael Kosko of Jefferson Hills, and Sandy Kosko of West Mifflin; grandmother of Jordan (Jake) McCormick, Mariah McCormick, Lani (Michael) Pappas, Zoe (Carlos) Kosko, Sydney Kosko, and Luke Kosko; great grandmother of Enzo Jerez; sister of Jack Macko, Andrew Macko, William Macko, Karen Petrauskas, Carol Kascuta, Fran Haynes, Judi Seifried, and Cheri Smith and predeceased by brother & sisters, Ronald Macko, Ronice Sigley, Lorraine Fite, Joan Burt, Patricia Petruzzi, and Trudi Kinavey; and will be joining her late dog, Sophie Sparkles. Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 9:30-10:00 a.m., at Holy Trinity Church, West Mifflin followed by a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m., with Rev.
