Thomas L. "Zabo" Zaborowski

Thomas L. “Zabo” Zaborowski, age 74, of West Mifflin, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, in Allegheny General Hospital. Born in McKeesport on October 20, 1950, he was the son of the late Edward Rymarowicz and Helen (Radecki) Rymarowicz. He was retired from the City of Pittsburgh Water Plant in the filtration department. He was also a former custodian at West Mifflin High School. He proudly served his country in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.

He is the beloved husband of Patricia (Valdez) Zaborowski for 53 years; father of Jessica Zaborowski of West Mifflin and Tina Zaborowski of West Mifflin; grandfather of Cayden Zablocki and his granddog Remy; and brother of Phyllis (late Richard) Morgan of Penn Twp. He is also survived by his nieces Christine (Lars) Vicksen and their son Max and Lee Ann (Craig) Riner and their children Andrew & Lexi and his godson Tanner Hornfeck and family.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 2-8 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR. A Blessing Service will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., with Seminarian Jared Sulak officiating. Burial will follow in St. Hedwig Cemetery, West Mifflin, with Military Honors.
