William E. Bost

William E. Bost, age 87, of Duquesne, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Son of the late Harold and Sophie (Kapolka) Bost, he was born on January 6, 1934. Bill was a retired hardware clerk and he liked to bowl and decorate his house, in lights, at Christmastime. He proudly served his country in the Army. He is the husband of Linda (Domes) Bost for 54 years; father of Derek Bost of Dravosburg and Carrie (Scott) Gamble of West Mifflin; grandfather of Olivia Bost, Evan Bost and Scott Gamble Jr.; brother of Arch “Honey” (late Marie) Bost of State College, Jack (Late Phillis) Bost of West Mifflin, Jim (Wanda) Bost of North Carolina, Gerry (Cindy) Bost of Warren, PA, and late Robert “Butch” (surviving spouse, Fran) Bost of Bethel Park. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday, December 28, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the MALOY-SCHLEIFER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 915 KENNEDY AVE., DUQUESNE, 15110, 412-466-3300, WILLIAM B. SCHLEIFER, SUPERVISOR, WILLIAM BRIAN SCHLEIFER, FUNERAL DIRECTOR, where a Blessing Service will be held at 9:30 a.m., on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, at 10:00 a.m., at Holy Name Church, Duquesne, with Rev. Nick Mastrangelo officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Mifflin.
