Armella M. (Datig) Galik, 90, of West Mifflin, died Friday, Nov. 18, 2016, at home. She was a daughter of the late G. Walter and Anna M. (Miller) Datig. She was the wife of the late Stanley Galik; mother of Stan "Skip" (Michaeline) Galik, of Fredericksburg, Va., Craig Galik, of West Mifflin, and Dennis (Pam) Galik, of Fox Chapel; grandmother of Mark (Ali) Galik, Stacey (Steve) Strawn, Kristen, Ian, Lauren, and Skye Galik; great-grandmother of Genevieve Galik; sister of Greg (Pat) Datig, of Gardena, Calif., the late William (surviving spouse, Elaine) Datig, of Brentwood, and Sylvia (the late Joseph) Lerro, of West Mifflin. She was predeceased by brothers and sisters, Norman Galik, Evelyn Gentile, Charles (the late Florence) Datig, Ralph (the late Betty) Datig, Gilbert (surviving spouse, Wanetta) Datig, of Greensburg, and infants, Anna, Irene, Franklin and Ralph Datig.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016, at the MALOY-SCHLIEFER FUNERAL HOME, 915 Kennedy Ave., Duquesne, 412-466-3300, William B. Schleifer, supervisor, William Brian Schleifer, Funeral Director. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Church, Duquesne. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Mifflin.
